    A couple

All taken on a regular Thursday afternoon ride on my local trails about a year ago. Unfortunately, we've only been dreaming of dry trails and temperatures like these so far this year. Today we had snow accumulation above 1500ft, and several of our favorite trails are still under snow from the insane storms we had in February.

If you don't like climbing, then my rides are three times more fun than yours.

This reminds me of how I occasionally rode some of the Ft Hood trails--minefield was a rock feast for sure.

I love the smoking rotor too. One of my favortie shots I've seen on MTBR. Everything is good about it. Light, composition, 'feeling'. Tasty!

Man that is drastic weather! Even your bike's color changed!

I do love the foggy Heil shot though. Too bad it sounds like I won't be seeing that section of trail anytime soon.

I was messing around with Photoshop and did this.

Actually conditions for this shot were far better than they have been recently. It was just misting, trail was firm and damp, top to bottom.

Heil has a special place in my heart, it cost me $12,000 and a summer off of riding.

    You in Longmont?

I posted a few other pics in a ride report a while back. Here are link to that

Here are two of my favorites from last summer. One is some German freeriders catching the shuttle in Italy, the second is from Hans Rey's stomping grounds and may look familiar to some.

It's hard to get good action shot like this with my camera - so it was kind of a fluke, but I like it a lot - shows a lot of motion.
