Fat Bikes in the Winter Games!

Just thinking about the amount of money spent on Super G Ski Courses and I think they could turn it over after the skiers are done and race Fat Bikes down the mountain. What's your suggestion for a Fat Bike Olympic event?

The alpine ski race courses are closer to ice than they are snow. Spikes would be a must.

^^^this. Alpine race courses are injected with water, the texture is closer to hockey rink than snow. The blue dye lines that outline race line will still be there on closing day, even after tilling and fresh snow. The surface is hard enough to last into late spring. On the men's DH there is one section that is 55 degrees, I think below the Bear Jump. I've worked on injected surfaces at 47 degree angles, and that was horrifying enough. However, groomed and tilled snow at my local ski area is sweet on a fatbike. Basically, if it's good for the public to ski on, it's primo for Nate and Bud.

Why not just use the XC/biathlon course(s) when they're done?

Fat-Bikeatholon, I like it. Maybe they should shoot something bigger than a .22 (since it's a fat sport) like a .44.
