    Sweet camera/editing work.

That wouldn't happen to be the trails just outside of Whitehorse, would it? They look eerily familiar, but snowy.....

Sam Reimer is the 100% of the creative force on these videos. He comes up with the concepts, shoots and edits everything. The rest of us just goof off and have fun on our bikes.

It's all shot on a GoPro HD Helmet Hero.

Whitehorse, yep. A lot of this is shot on Quickie, one of our most popular trails in the summer.

looks like a lot of fun. dude who made it I think really did a great job of capturing that aspect. It helps that crashing in the snow doesn't hurt so much. haha. I also like the sped-up shot from the roof rack. that's a pretty clever POV.

if I ever wind up in the snowy north again, I'll be getting my hands on a fatbike. it always bummed me out that riding season was essentially over if there was more than 4" of snow on the ground because skinny tires couldn't float well on any more than that.

How deep do you suppose the wider tires let you ride? Looks like most of those trails were somewhat packed in from snowmobiles and possibly xc skiers, too, so I imagine that helps.

I'm looking forward to having some fun with a gopro here in the next couple of months. I've got one on the way, and plan to try to showcase my local trails. the university wants to see the end products and they'd like to use them on their own website.

Sweet video guys. I've been going through Whitehorse since I was a little kid, but I moved to Oregon before I really got into mountain biking. Would love to go back sometime.

We stick to packed trails -- snow machines, snowshoers, dog mushers, dog walkers, bike riders... We stay away from the XC skiers and their trails because they are a testy bunch. It doesn't matter much because there are more trails here in the winter than we could ever ride.

With those tires the trails can be pretty soft and still rideable, but there needs to be a packed base. Around 6 inches of fresh powder on top of a packed trail is usually the limit. Snow in most of those shots is at least knee deep off-trail, with a few more months of winter to go.

    That was all things PHAT

That video had me cracking up! The hooting and hollering sounds just like the way me and my buds roll. As we rail down our trails there is always one of us giving a shout out to another for a sweet hit or tweak or simply' yelling out in sheer joy. Nice vid and good stoke. You guys have style

lol, just a snarky remark, taking a jab at you living in yukon... me and my friend always make fun of it, but we've never been there so its just ignorance, and jokes.
