Why would I be embarrassed of this? If someone has problem with my tan/tanlines it's their problem not mine.

I used to have a farmers tan all the time, but now that I have been swimming regularly I have a strange "half tan"

Tan on the back and white on the front.
I've gone to find myself. Should I get back before I return, please tell me to wait.

I had to pick up jerseys with a lower neckline. All my regular shirts looked like they had an extra white collar sewn on.
    Just a little too goofy.

What's really embarrassing is the splotchy tan spots i got on my body when i went kayaking on the lake and used spray on sun screen lotion. And missed some spots. I look like i have a friggin condition now haha.

At times, my peers seem embarrassed about my Speedo tan, but what can one do? Such is life in these here parts.

    Funny you should mention this.

I used to have serious farmer's tans. I then noticed that even though I'm riding more today, I don't have a farmer's tan at all any more.

    The difference is geography.

Living in Colorado and California, my rides were always exposed to the sun. Desert and High Desert riding means farmer tans and sunglasses.

But in Georgia, very little of my riding is in direct sunlight. Most of it is through the "green tunnel" of the dense Georgia woods. That means no sunglasses (too dark) and no tan lines.

why would I be embarrassed that I'm getting outside and doing stuff, instead spending my time laying around doing nothing, cultivating a "look"?

I even have glove tan lines right now. no raccoon eyes, though.
