Had a chance to ride a great section of the CO trail this week - fall colors were amazing on a beautiful CO day. Rode from Kenosha pass (10,000') to Georgia pass (11,585') - just over 24 mi. of prime, high-country singletrack. This was my first ride w/ a camera, so I thought I'd try my hand at snapping and posting a few pics.

Trees starting to get thin ... so is the air
At the top of Georgia pass with a view of Mt. Gugot (13,370') - above timberline now
After a tough climb at altitude, the downhill was a well-earned singletrack blast through pine forrest mixed with aspen groves. Only stopped for a few pics as I was having way too much fun.
It's always fun to get up to the high country in the fall when the aspen are changing colors. I was fortunate to catch the trees at peak on such a beautiful day. The trees were electric in the afternoon sun - as a newbie photog, I'm afraid my shots don't do it justice. Nonetheless, a great ride on a great day.
