    Brianc's western fling (part 1)

Some of us New Messicans, and one M*******, made a pilgimage to the Fruita/Moab area this past week. Despite constant threats of rain by the ever so reliable weather.com the week prior, and more than enough stress and worry by some of the participants, we were treated to pleasant weather for the whole trip.

Our first stop was Fruita and Moore Fun. There were just three of us on this ride as the vicious lies of a campground attendant made our rendezvous with the others impossible.

    Fruita day two

Rain and nasty weather after the ride Saturday evening lead to feelings of hopelessness for Sunday's ride, and mass consumption. Sunday morning brought headaches, queasiness, and the realization that we would indeed ride up the Ribbon.

    Fruita day three

A quick spin in the Kokopelli area was in order before the drive to Moab.

Too bad it wasn't cold enough to freeze, Brian likes ice.
Your bike can take you anywhere, anytime, over any terrain but, you have to force it to GK 2004. BB1, who started it?

    damn dude these pics rule!

Mass consumption and brew shakes what a way to spend time between rides. =)

The Chile made it safely to my freezer. only very minor leakage, which the bag kept safe for me.

Dude! You take some of the best pics on these boards. I cant wait to get out there(this fall I hope). On a side note those tires look nice and beefy. Are they UST and if so what model?

    Thanks for the great pics!

    Thanks for the compliment.

I believe the tires you are referring to are the Panaracer FR 2.4's.

    Looks like here....

Cool pics Andy.......and strangely enough, you could have claimed some of those shots were in San Yisdro and I would not have known the difference.

Sorry I missed you & Brian, but I was up in LA riding with Scott on Sat. when B called.
