I do like them, and I know what style you are drawing inspiration from, but the font choice needs work.
A thinner Helvetica or all caps would work well. Don't be afraid to mess with kerning etc. A great start!

No, stay on the trail! Keep single track single and don't go around creating short cuts and B lines and otherwise making a mess out of the trail system. If you really feel the need to create a new trail then make sure you have all the proper permissions and permits before starting.

I agree. The words themselves are supposed to be about life. I put them to that picture because you could see the trail of dust behind him
