    Big boulder passion.

Got some? Post it up. Spent the afternoon at the South Foot Hills here in Albuquerque. Rolling the boulders is a blast. Killer day with good friends. What more can you ask for?

    Yes, Bartlett.

I think some call that section Dolly Parton.

the Toilet Bowl was fun as well, I've got a few pics. It took a few attempts to muster up the courage to ride down it since I had never ridden anything close to it before, but once down the next attempts came much easier. My hands were shaking after the first run down

That scenery blows my mind, I have never seen a desert, or arid landscape like that in person.

At any rate I could never do sections on a trail like that...too scared. I salute you

The vastness of the western US is amazing. I thought I'd never roll those sections at first but once you are there a while and watch others do it you just can't resist.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't gained legs. I've seen lots of cool photos of people rolling boulders throughout the years.

Here's a couple of the Toilet Bowl in the same area. (EDIT: this first one appears to be a different angle of the earlier ones I posted, not the Toilet Bowl)

The better line took a while to hit in this pic. It's to the right of the rider, straight down off that 3 foot drop...rather than ''toilet-bowling" around the side like we did early on.

Here's a bouldery-chunky section in PHX. Rider is not me, I borrowed this pic from the AZ forum.

    Nice.

To be fair the Bartlett stuff (I posted) is not really boulders but more just real steep sections with no trees or dirt, lol.

Now, let's post up the rock shots

Bartlett is truly a bike play ground. The first shot is of the 'Chute of Doom', as the locals call it. And the 100ft half pipe (your second shot) is known as the Super Bowl. There are so many lines there. The key to this place is to have a few beers on hand and watch the sunset there.

Wow, that second one would put in the ground like Wile E. Coyote if it weren't for the rocks at the bottom.

You know what's interesting about the above pic is that it looks like a flat rock is placed nearly vertical at the bottom to roll that drop. Can it be rolled as well?

We ride escarpment rock which was once a huge reef thousands of years ago.
Here's a drop at the filter that can be rolled or jumped on a fun trail called Squeaker

Filter on another trail called Grab Bag. Many of the trails we like are narrow and lined with trees or rock. Not much room for error but still able to pick the best lines

Some great B lines in the Upper 50 in Catalina AZ...

    And another:

And at the bottom of the last rock, doesn't really give you any idea of just how steep it is, nor the fact that the runoff is about 18" wide!

I'm seeing what you are seeing to the left of the drop - in the foreground of the pic. I think I can roll that. I don't think I would do the drop that 'Calvinator' is doing.
