Beginners ride @ Poor Farms, Va...
Well, it seems I got drafted to lead a beginners ride at Poor Farms and am now extending an invition to who wish to join us. @ Present time it will be me, my GF, my TALL college buddie, and another college friend. This will be a VERY beginnerish ride. Something like 10 miles in 3 to 4 hours is kinda what I expect. May be faster I just don't know as of yet. We plan to be there between 9:30 to 10 am this saturday. If anyone wishes to join, let me know or look for my truck. Blue Ford Ranger with stckers on the back window.
Crashed: My BF and I would be interested in riding with you all sometime, but can't do it this Sat (will be going caving in W Va), or next weekend (mother coming down from NY).

some tips to the ride leader....
I picked these up while hosting the gathering last year and thought you may benefit from my experience.
#1) The top of any climb is "just a bit" farther than the visible top of the present climb.
#2) The end of the ride is always "pretty close".
#3) In spite of what the topographical map may show, the ride is always "mostly downhill from here".
Repeat as necessary.
