    Anniversary Passion!

Today makes one year that I have been married to my best friend! And with 'paper' being the "traditional 1 year anniversary gift", we both got/made each other gifts out of paper....

So I got into my craft side & made my wife a bouquet of origami flowers (I had to have MTB videos playing in the background to keep myself sane)...

She presented me an envelope with registration/confirmation of a Snowshoe Bike Park Season Pass ....

Sweet gift. Snowshoe would be a great place to ride! Congrats on your anniversary, may there be many more!

I wonder if I should ask for a do-over. I had no idea that the first anniversary was supposed to be paper. I'm coming up on 25 and I'm pretty sure paper won't be what's expected.

Congrats! It's weird though . . . my wife has been getting paper almost every day since we got married like 7 years ago. She just steals it out of my wallet

Wait until 5 years . . . the gift is wood. Apparently even by 5 years, giving wood is relegated only to special occasions!
Alcohol may lead nowhere, but it sure is the scenic route!

You got the better end of that exchange! Although yours was very thoughtful.

Yes, congratulations! If you do it right, it's easy to rack up the years. I've been married to my best friend for over 35 years now. We got married on April Fools Day because we figured that a good marriage requires a sense of humor.
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
