After a week off at sea level....

Wow, I felt pathetically slow/fat yesterday. Maybe it was all the cannoli ingested last week.
Only a few other riders out, a couple hikers and runners on the trail. Two laps of the local loop had me feeling better by the end.

    Oh, wait, I'm slow normally......

Still, was nice to get out. After that marshmallow like performance on the bike yesterday, i decided a road spin was in order for today. You know, building fitness and all. Right. got about half my planned loop in before I saw the really ugly looming clouds. Belined it home, just under the leading edge of the storm. 15 minutes later, hail in the 0.5-1.5" diameter began drumming down.

A few of the stones, after they'd already been melting for a few minutes on the deck.
