48 minute documentary of the world cycling speed record attempt.

Guy Martin, an Isle of Mann TT motorcycle racer, decided to start a TV show of him breaking a bunch of speed records. First on his list was the cycling speed record, previously set at 110 mph in 1986. This documentary follows Martin's path leading up to his attempt. Pretty fun watch, as Martin is completely looney.

Here's a link to the full video:

Got a couple of popups, but I didn't get any virus warnings, so you should be safe to watch it.

worth a watch for sure, he is a proper character.

I saw the very bike at the weekend at Bespoked London, and had a chat with the man that built it.
What exactly is a rigid hard tail?

Hopefully it's subtitled, I can't understand half of what he's saying.
Speed solves all problems, except for those things it makes worse.

Understanding half is actually an improvement for me. I used to only understand 20%, but a couple years back he did an interesting series where he and a friend restored an old canal boat using only industrial revolution-era technologies. That helped tune my ear.

Oh, and to get back on topic, Martin is also an accomplished MTB endurance racer.
