mtb in kenya?

I will be visiting Kenya in the next couple of months and am trying to scout out some potential riding while there. A search only came up with mostly fireroads and it would seem a lot of outfitted rides are postponed due to recent unrest in the region. I would prefer to do a guided single track trip for around a week, but even a good day ride would fine with me. Any info on riding in the area would be appreciated.

If you find out let me know. Im in Tanzania. Where are you going to be? Nairobi has a lot of criminal activity. Its pretty bad, and they usually mug you with more than one person.

Maybe the best bet is to check the local guides, and learn the route.
