Zen to pick up Sapa production?

Interesting developments in PDX/USA bicycle frame manufacturing. Some a bit old news but I see it as positive developments, especially with the possibility Turner and Titus may want to keep some frame/frame parts done in Portland.

From what I hear zen has already lost its contracts with Ellsworth and moots and laid of all employees except one. I don't know if they have built any bikes since they moved to Portland.

    Total BS.

As of a couple of weeks ago they had 16 people working and a shop full of frames in progress and ready to be shipped.

Update after a buddy stopped in today: Zen has laid off half the staff (not all but one), no longer does work for Moots or Ellsworth, but they are producing frames and parts, and have shipped product for other companies.
