    Yellowman game

Who wants to play a game?

Object: Help Yellowman ride the trails of central OR. If you find him take him with you and place him somewhere else, then snap a pic and post it here so the next guy knows where to look.

    Rules:
    1. Yellowman travels by bike only (i.e., don't stick him in your car and drive him to Moab, never to be seen again).
    2. Yellowman spends the night outside (i.e., don't take him home with you only to have your dog chew him to pieces).
    3. Yellowman should be easily found by anyone who knows where to look for him (i.e., the object is not to make him impossible to find) but don't make it so obvious that someone who isn't playing the game takes him away, never to be seen again.

    Go!

... and the next thing we know he'll appear at the Oregon coast.

Looks like Funner/TW cutoff? Will be hitting Funner for some shuttle runs with Bend Cyclery tonight.

Past the heli-pad heading down? Isn't that the only "most difficult" place in Bend?

Great idea though. May steal it for up here too.

Nope. Most difficult is in reference to all of the other trails in Bend. Just like a Black Diamond at Bachelor is not a Black Diamond at say Squaw.
Hint: Yellowman is at one of the more technical trails in Bend. Good Luck!

Doh, Lower COD on the "tech spur".

Yeah, it is indeed all relative. I think there are only 3 signs like that out there. The third being on the lower Funner one way section. Can't remember if there is one on Angry Pirate...

Yup, now you have to come down here and get him. And that is Old Dirty Pirate, not "Angry Pirate" although I think Nick was pretty angry when he had to dismantle the step up.

    Hehehe. Wish I could.
Riding Duthie then Tokul east after work today though. So, all good.
The "Angry" referenced Whistler's trail. I guess that's on my mind. Though, yeah, Nick wasn't the only one "angry".

Still a cool idea and hoping to put something up out here.

Hope this continues. We will be in Bend in a few weeks and it would be cool to take the little guy for a ride somewhere...lol.

Is Yellowman lost? Or waiting another cold, lonely night for someone to take him to his next destination?

PS. A fun idea so been watching where he appears next.

    I'll play

Yellowman was not lost, just neglected. I didn't take him far since I was on a short morning ride. He seems to be making his way towards town. I thought he would be hanging around 6-7000' by now. I guess he's trying to stay safe and not risk getting lost due to snow covered trails, which may violate rule #1 and/or #2 by a search and rescue op.
