    Visiting Ashland

    Hey Oregon friends -

I'll be in Ashland for two and a half weeks, and I'm looking for some of your best trails. My buddy and I have "trail" bikes - 29ers with ~120mm rear suspension. We don't mind climbing, probably won't be able to shuttle anyway, and won't have any time to actually get anywhere outside of Ashland.

    What should we be riding?

    Thanks!

I would suggest getting a free trail map when you arrive and talking to one of the bike shops in town. The trails in Ashland will be be right at your fingertips, no matter where you are staying at. You will be doing a lot of climbing and descending and not much of in between. Ashland is steep, but fun.

    Enjoy

Do yourselves a favor and take one shuttle with Ashland Mountain Adventures - you get to the top of the watershed and can get a perfect overview of the available trails above town, take a 1.5 hr singletrack descent, then you can pedal back up to the various lower trails any time

Contact Sue at Ashland Mountain Adventures for sure (as already recommended ) and ask about directions out to Time Warp - It's the "must ride" trail there. Just ask for dirrections from there because you have a long & short route option depending on how much time you have...

    Have a blast!
