    Tumblebug Smoke Condtions

So, all packed and ready to road-trip up to Oakrdige Saturday AM from the coast, and am wondering about the smoke conditions. Motels in Oakridge booked full of firefighters. Was planning on riding MRT, Waldo Lake, and Oakridge, Sunday thru Tuesday.

Any local info on conditions and how they could potentially change over the next four days?

You should be fine, so long as you are flexible.. I hear that smoke is either horrible in Oakridge, or there's no soke, depending on the day's wind direction. If Oakridge is snoky, Waldo should be fine, and vice versa. MRT is further from the fires, and I don't think smoke will affect any riding there.

The good news is that per Randy from Oregon Adventures guides in Oakridge, the fire has not hit the Middle Fork trail, nor has it affected Moon Point trail. Access to these trails is closed because of the fires, but hopefully they won't be destroyed.
