I'm vacationing in the Klamath Falls area and want some suggestions for trail riding in the area.I like pretty technical trails but not freeriding.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I grew up in KFalls and would always take the bike when going back to visit. The higher elevations may still have snow this time of year, but I have ridden Brown Mountain trail <http://trails.mtbr.com/cat/united-states-trails/trails-oregon/trail/PRD_169733_4571crx.aspx> also around KAGO hill, Moore Park, and Hogsback. Check with the LBS "Yankee Pedaler" on Altamont for local knowledge.
Thanks for the info.If you're wondering where to ride in No.Cali, look me up.I used to do a little guiding and know most of the trails worth riding around Santa Cruz,San Jose ,Morgan Hill,Gilroy,Downieville and Lake Tahoe.
It seems like most of the references are historic, leading me to believe the Klamath Heat is no more. You might also check out this website: http://sova.org/KLM/mountainbiking.htm for more info about rides in the area.
