    trail conditions in Bend/Ashland

    Hey

My friends and I are looking into a week or so of mtbing in Ashland and/or Bend starting memorial day weekend. what are trail conditions like? Are most trails open? Is there a lot of blowdown?

And any recommendations on camping? We're hoping to avoid RV and such.

    Thanks!

M-Day in Bend should be really good. The lower trails (up to Helipad elevation) are good-to-go, but there's still snow on the mid-level and higher trails. Come visit...spend some money.

Yes, what Nat said. There will be blow down on some trails less ridin, but you will probably deal with that anywhere you ride in Oregon right now. We have had multiple days of showers making the dirt heavenly! One can do no wrong, except loose your balance and slam into a tree, but that's not the dirts fualt.

    Ride your bike

Trail conditions in Ashland are great. The recent rain has really made the trails tacky. No blowdown so to speak of.
