    Trail Care Crew in Grants Pass Cathedral Hills / Pedal Driven !

    Trail Care Crew Event

    Cathedral Hills Park Trail Build: Grants Pass, OR

    October 28—30, 2011


    Love to Work With Your Hands and Give Back to Your Community… Here is your Chance!



    The Subaru / International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Trail Care Crew in

    conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management, Rogue Valley Mountain Bicycling

    Association, Southern Oregon Subaru, Bikekraft, Spin Cycles, and Don’s Bike Center

    invite you and all of your friends to join us for three days of free and fun mountain biking

    related events including a trail building class, a Land Managers Training class about

    building and managing bike trails, a movie night featuring the movie “Pedal Driven”,

    a 1/2 day trail building event with a free lunch for volunteers

    and several other social events such as group rides.



    Schedule of Events:

    Friday Oct. 28:

    9:00-12:00 = Land Managers Training for sustainable Bike Trails-Grants Pass Interagency Office -

    2164 NE Spalding Ave., Grants Pass

    12:00-1:00 = Group lunch at Wild Rivers Pizza (informal everyone covers own lunch), 595 NE E St., Grants Pass

    6:00– Movie: Pedal Driven– Grants Pass Interagency Office—2164 NE Spalding Ave., Grants Pass

    Saturday Oct. 29:

    9:00-12:00– IMBA Trail Building Class (everyone participating in the trail build must attend) - Grants Pass

    Interagency Office (GPIO), 2164 NE Spalding Ave., Grants Pass

    12:00-1:00– Free Lunch for all Trail Build Volunteers– at GPIO

    1:00-4:00– Trail Build at Cathedral Hills Park, Grants Pass (Car pooling, shuttles from GPIO, maps provided)

    Sunday Oct 30:

    9:00-12:00—Group Ride for Everyone—Site to be determined

    What kind of mountain bike trails are available in this area? My dad lives in Applegate - I may head out that way for a month or two in March or April.
