    TNT (Thursday Night Treadheads)

Looking for a catchy promotion for a bunch of hoods, like myself, to ride.

Anyways, I am ready to ride on Thursday. Who is in? Smudge, Hack, GlowBoy, anyone interested? Scapula (Scapoosse)? Forest Park if it is too wet to ride Brown's/Roger's Camp? I get off work around 5, in Tigard.

Post here, PM, whatever is clever.

My bike has a TNT rear end so as long as you get the royalty check in by the 5th of each month feel free to use it. Ride on!

    Kraig...
Are the wheels roundish? Ride it.

Disciples Of Dirt, come ride with us.

Let's plan on Scappoosse (sp?, I prefer Scapula, has an edge), unless we get waved off by Hacker.

I leave Tigard 4:30 and can make it there by who knows when? Better to go over the west hills like Cornellius Pass Road, or otherwise? I have never been.

Smudge-You have enough lay of the land to get us around out there w/o getting killed? 12-miles or should not be that problematic.

Hrm...lay of the land. Well, I live by these rules: 1. never go downhill for long. 2. Always turn left 3. always bring soy sauce

If for some inexplicable reason, Hack leaves us for dead, lost in the Scappoose maze, I think I could get us out alive, but maybe a little eaten.

We're going to have to work like crazy to cover 12 miles there. See you guys around 5 on Thursday.

Sounds good. Is there a nice landmark one can find with ease? Also, if I leave from Tigard at 4:30 and get there roughly 5:15-5:30, does that allow plenty of ride time with out the need for auxillary lighting? Waiting on Hack and others to chime in.

How much do you know already?

Take 30 to Rocky Point Road (which is just past a golf course) where you'll take a left. There's a blue gate on the right after a mile or so. It's pretty easy to see, but that's about all the landmark I got for ya.

    Good job! Sooo....

    Who's in?

Weather looks good!!!! Scapoosse Rocky Point Road trail head between 5:15 and 5:30 or so? Does that allow enough ride time/daylight? I may be able to get out of school earlier than 4:30 in Tigard.

    Hack?
    The Eric?
    GlowBoy?
    Zep?
    Anyone?

    Smudge is in.

Weather's looking awesome. I may try to make it, but don't know for sure yet. If I show, I'll be in the dope black escort wagon.

Meat, I think Cornelius Pass will be much quicker than the 26/405/30 route. It gets pretty fugly out there. Say, will you be SSing?

With the way the trails are setup, you can ride as much/little as you care to do. Depending on who shows up and how everyone is feeling, I bet we'll get in about 10 miles. I'm hoping this weather holds for a while. I'd like to get out to Brown's ASAP. I'm still brooding about not cleaning that rocky climb.

Way OT: There's a one-man-band called Duckmandu who is playing at the Red&Black Cafe on Friday night. He plays the accordian, sings and covers a lot of Dead Kennedy. He's in a couple of my favorite bands and he's pretty ridiculous (in a good way) and very entertaining. Cover is $5 and it's a cool, small coffee house setting. 8PM.

Cool. I remember the pimp escort. No SSing this ride, I hear there is plenty of climbing (read....steep pitches). Brown's did me in on my SS. I know, just SS and all will be good down the road. I have the fear in me

    Plans Finalized (TNT Reprise)

Meat at the trailhead at 5:00 Post Meridian per Hacker's advice of "earlier the better". I will depart Tigard at 4:00 PM. How does that work for interested parties and lurkers?
