    Tioga NUT

Anyone ridden the Tioga section of the NUT lately? I'm planning on riding there Wednesday morning and was wondering how much of it is closed. Is there a better section to ride not too far from Roseburg? Thanks in advance.

The mid-section of the Tioga is still closed for repairs http://tinyurl.com/kohgqw

Everything above the Tioga up to the the eastern portion of the Jessie Wright is open. The eastern section of Jessie Wright will be closed as of Sept 8. http://tinyurl.com/l3hmua The rest of the NUT above that is open.

A few of us rode Dread and Terror yesterday and it was fantastic. There was just enough precipitation over the weekend to keep the dust down.

The Calf reopened last year and is still open. Looks like BLM needs to update their website.

No, that's old info. Calf was reopened a few years ago.

Also, the Riverview Trail is still closed by the fire, probably until the fall rains come.

    Another ride to consider.

Thanks. I think I'm going to do the Mott and Panther segments as an out and back from the Wright Creek TH and if time allows I'll squeeze in Calf. Thanks again for the info. Please feel free to add comments to my plan.

Be aware Mott & Panther are loaded with poison oak.

Hey mw (or anyone else) -- any idea if the above mentioned Lake in the Woods ride is clear? Thanks.

Thanks all . I'm trying to find something within a half hour drive from the 5. I'll be on my way to Portland from Medford.
