This week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oregon Enduro (Devon) the adopter of t'winks will be working on the road conversion section putting on the final touches on it for winter.. We need your help so come on out and help rake. The area is in need of a lot of work to address safety issues and generally improve the flow. This is the area just east of the high point on the trail where its on old road. Bring your bike and riding gear in addition to your trail work gear. Those that help out will be getting first tracks!
Sunday: Pine Mtn Sports is hosting a workday on Sunday Nov 4th at 9AM, meet at the shop. We will be working on T'winks. Food and beverage provided.
Directions to the worksite: Off Cacade Lakes Hwy turn left on rd#4613, follow it for about 3 miles. Turn left at the powerlines, which is rd#740. Look for parked cars about 200 yds down, small spur heads off to the right. Ride your bike 1/2 mile or walk in to the worksite.
Next week: Sunnyside Sports /Footzone workday Saturday Nov 10th 9AM at Sunnyside. there will be multiple worksites. Food and beverage provided.
Cog Wild has generously offered one of their vans for Sunday. So bring your bike and plan a great day. 9am at Pine Mtn Sports trailwork till around 1pm, free lunch and beverage then ride yourself back to town if you like!
This section of TW is going to be awesome. It's like a FAT version of Whoops. Much more flowy in my opinion, and Massive room for the berms and jumps. No worrying about landing on a tree. Once it gets packed down over the winter it's gonna be epic.
T'winks is now completely open and the new section is there for you to check it out. Twenty great volunteers came out today and put the final touches on it. Thanks to Oregon Enduro, Pine Mtn Sports and Cog Wild for the support.
Can't recommend this ride enough. Good work COTA on the trail!
T'winks down is about 10x more fun than Funner. Sad to say but oh so true. That downhill section flows and goes on all the way to the stormking intersection. Amazing fun!
