    Spring Thaw GPX?

Anyone have a GPX of the XC route for this year?
If not about how long and how many feet is the loop/2060 climb?

The full loop is 24 miles (according to the mile markers), but the route last year was shorter by a couple miles. Elevation gain is between 2500-3000 ft.

    That's not this years course

Just trying to gauge the climb up to upper missing links from the start.

Did the OP end up doing this year's race? I saw the results and it sure looked way shorter than the previous two years.

I'm curious as to how this course was vs last year, the times make it seem like the XC race was too short overall.
Good friction shifting is getting hard to find nowadays....

Yep I raced both days. The XC race was shortened due to logging and snow. We climbed up to lower links then descended back to the park. It was plenty long for me. The Sport course was 12.5 miles total. That 6 mile 2400 foot climb was brutal.

Mestapho, many thanks for the update. I love riding on the mountain but am glad I passed on this years race and chose the Chainbreaker in Bend, that was 26 miles.

Most likely next year I'll do both if the winter isn't as bad and the regular long course is back and running. Still envious of your trip there no matter what, and thanks again for your reply.
