    SOFA Updates

We are currently working with the City of Jacksonville in regards to their 150th anniversary celebration next year. They are in the planning stages of having a bicycle festival as part of the festivities. They are planning an xc, crit, dh and kids race They have invited SOFA to put on a downhill event. Once final approval is made (should be in a month hopefully) we will need help constructing a new downhill trail. There will also be trail efforts in creating new single track for the xc race. This will hopefully become an annual event for Jacksonville as well as opening the door for our original plans for a freeride system in Forest park.

We will be sitting down with the FS in October and finally working on a trail plan for Ashland. We will continue to try and keep this thread updated with new info as things progress.
