Snow elevation Mt. Ashland
Going to Ashland next weekend to visit my daughter at school and was wondering if it's worth bringing the mt. bike or should I stick with the road. Thankfully everyone gets up late which gives me some ride time in the AM, If I don't drink to much at the pub.

The last week has been beautiful with temps in the 60s and sunny, so the snow is gone on all trails from 4 corners and lower. Unless you are planning a 2+ hour climb from town, you won't be riding in any snow - bring the mountain bike!

Snow might be gone but many of the trails will be closed for a month or so.

Appears the FS is gonna "thin" the watershed till it looks like southern Cali. How many decades is this stupid control project going to escalate until monster homes pop up along that entire ridgeline to the yellow gate?
