Sisters or Bend any snow-free trails ?

Going to be spending the weekend in Sisters, are there any trails around that don't have snow?

Maston, Horse Butte, Horse Ridge, Radlands were all riding good in the past two weeks. Only been on the lower parts of Peterson Ridge and they were good too.

Did you end up riding Peterson Ridge? I suspect it was pretty good.

I did. I brought my rigid Monocog and it was sweet. It rained overnight and the trails were nice with the moisture. I could see that it could get really dry and sandy in places for the summer.

Being my first time there, I stayed up near the top and did some loops of the more techy sections for a few hours. The trails cruised well, kind of rolly-polly ground both directions with some good punchy climbs. The rocks were fun..got to bash around and work my bike handling skills. We don't have many on the home trails.

All in all, a thumbs up.

I am trying to plan a trip for some SV, Idaho area guys. Wanting to be able to ride McKenzie River this time. Looking at late April/early May. Can any of you locals advise if that would be a decent bet?
