    shiggy gives thanks

On Thanksgiving day, shig & I rode for a couple hours out at Whypass just to work up an appetite in anticipation of overeating at Brock & Lee Ann's house. It was a beautiful day. Here are a couple pix I took along the way.

Stumps Don't Win Trail. Wish the pic didn't turn out so fuzzy... anyway, you get the idea.

shig doing his lumberjack/cyclist impression on the less-than-one-week-old Letz Peek Trail. No wonder he's smiling... he's grateful to have sweet new singletrack to ride on Thanksgiving Day.

P.S. Dinner at Brock & Lee Ann's was awesome, too! (Sorry, no pix of the party.) Anyway, thanks for giving!

I did a quick levels adjustment on the pics. Maybe Sparty's pics will be better now that I mentioned a basic point about using digicams.

That is a derailleur on Shig's new steed. He had to ride gears now that a significant bunch are riding SS. He always has to be different.....
I'm answering for Sparty since he's camping tonight near Oakridge. Expect some pics from this trip in a couple days, snow and all !!

That's it man! Get'em in while you can. That's what we are doing down in Nor Cal. It's been pretty nice fall weather. Not alot of rain yet. Getting late here without rain (usually Halloween) Damn near Dec. Any way ........looks like a 1 x 9 he's running. 32 or 34t?
We have been out your neck a couple times this year. Saw some stellar trails all SS.
    Keep on ridin'

We do, all year long, except when we (well, some of us - that aren't afraid of snow) go XC skiing, snowboarding, or whatever snow sport floats people's boats, er - - - boards.
