    Sandy Ridge bus rider kudos

This is a shout out to all the guys I see taking the bus to Brightwood and then riding to the SR trail head. I cant imagine how long it would take from Portland. I'm just glad I don't have to clean the bus seats after I've seen how muddy you are waiting in the rain.

Anyway, good on ya for making happen, whatever your reasons are.

That's cool. Every year I take a trip out to visit friends in Salt Lake City and we ride the bus to ski in the backcountry. The city buses even have ski racks on them.
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.

Yeah, I'd do that in Bend when I worked at Bachelor. In the fall, I'd take my bike up on the employee bus and ride singletrack home everyday. It was pretty awesome.
