Road trip from Portland to California help

Mid-April I'll be driving from Portland to Santa Cruz. I have a week to spend in Oregon. What areas/trails would you hit that will be rideable that time of year? It doesn't need to be a direct route. I will be camping in my van, so camping near trail heads is a plus. Thx!!

Start by swinging over to Sandy Ridge. Bit of a diversion but holds up well in spring. And you have a week, so. Maybe divert even more to Syncline or Hood River? Probably not Bend this season so soon.

On your way down 99 (nicer than I-5): Black Rock Mountain Bike Area. Alsea Falls. Maybe Whypass if you can avoid getting lost in the maze. All three ride fine in spring so long as you're not riding during a downpour.

Maybe some low elevation stuff in Oakridge? Ask at the Willamette Mercantile when you hit PDX.

South of Eugene I don't know.
