    Radlands

I'm visiting friends in Redmond this weekend. I usually ride around Wanoga when I'm in the area but I've heard of a new trail system called the Radlands. However, I've read that only 5 miles of trail have been constructed. Is this information current?

There are about ten miles or so, and more under construction. A free map is available at Radlands

There should also be maps at the trailhead adjacent to the High Desert Sports Complex.

Put your sunscreen on. It will be hot out there up until Oct. It's out in the Juniper desert east of Redmond. Great views of the Cascades and Smith rock on a clear day.

    Re: Radlands

Thanks for the advice everyone. We had a great time riding later in the day just as it was cooling off. I usually don't enjoy flat trails, but the lava rock was so much fun!
