Post Canyon muddy right now?
I haven't ridden Post Canyon after heavy rainfall because I've always been under the impression it gets sloppy & the trails are easily damaged.
That said, I'm heading up tomorrow with some folks who are eager to ride PC, and we got dumped on in Portland.
So... what's the mud like up there right now? When its wet I usually prefer Syncline.
Discuss!

As much as I was banking on riding Post tomorrow, I'm going to skip it. The trails are probably peanut butter right now. More than 1/2" of rain over the past 24 hours (according to weather.com) is quite a bit.

They should be great on Sunday (except for the damage that will be done by the people who will ride them today and early tomorrow).

Yeah, this is what I was thinking too. What about Whoopdee in the AM then Post Canyon in the afternoon? FWIW, I'm trying to be the sane person and talk the group out of riding Post Canyon at all. I don't want to ride peanut butter.
IMO, I'd rather do Syncline in the AM, and one of the others in the PM.

^^^ I live near the mouth of Post Canyon, and we've had a lot more rain than "very little to none". Near half an inch at my house.
I suspect it will be good by Saturday afternoon, unless more rain falls tonight (not likely).
Sunday/Monday are guaranteed great.
Whining is not a strategy.

NOW is PRIME on 44rd trails, perfect for Knebal & 15 mile.
