One of my fave OR shuttles. Only problem is...

...we didn't shuttle. 10 or so miles of gravel roads, some steep, some not to get to the top of Lawler....then, well: LAWLER! Thanks for the ride boys, good times. I didn't get too many "good" shots 'cuz I was either way behind or way ahead, depending on the section so...enjoy what we got.

    1. The saddle...bit over half-way.
    2. KK had plenty of time perfecting his pose while waiting for me on the climb.
    3. This got my attention in the midst of the oxygen deprivation...
    4. Saw plenty of this...
    5. ...and this.
    6. Maximus getting his SS grin on.
    7. Just finished cutting a tree up and out of the way, thanks Max.
    8. One of many switchies.
    9. Raise your hand in the air...

Dang, missed it. Was feeling off my game from a crash Friday on Brice. Hope that's not a cracked rib...

Looks like a killer February ride. Have been thinking of getting out to Oakridge to get some good miles in, mud wasn't too bad? any sight of snow?

Mud was pretty minor. Lawler drains really well. There was zero snow on the trail. We saw a few small patches right before and right after the shelter turn-off, but that was it.

This last Sunday we had to ride through almost a hundred yards of snow to get to the top of Crawfish, but that was just on the road after the Knott turn-off...crazy spring we're having.

I'm planning a trip to OR. this spring. It will be my first time biking out there. This is one of the trails that I'm going to get to. Seeing pictures like this make the wait a killer!
