    Mrazek via Happy Valley????

Wondering if Happy Valley to Mrazek is free of snow or will be by Saturday? Got a buddy I haven't seen in 4 years meeting me in Bend for some singletrack goodness. He's never been there and I was hoping to ride from tumalo falls to happy valley to mrazek to shelvin park. Is this doable by Saturday?? Sure hope so.....thanks!

Judging by the other, recent Bend snow level threads, I'd say no chance.

Last week's wintery temps didn't help much, either.

You might have better luck with road 370/4601 as Windago Metolius past Mrazek is covered with snow and tree fall.

Thanks for the responses guys & I kinda figured as much but didn't know for sure.

Hey Dry Side thanks for the suggestion. I have never done it that way, can you drive up to where the trail crosses the road here 370/4601 ? How much road riding is involved if not?

Any other ride suggestions that could match my desired route in scenery and trail funness in Bend/ sisters? Probably put a loop together in Phils but that's not really his thing. The only other ride I have planned for sure is the MRT, and a days climbing at smith. Open to any other suggestions.

Try a Funner/Tiddlywinks loop with a Kiwa Butte/Dinah Moe Humm out and back midway.

If you are at Smith, you can drive past there to Skull Hollow and do the Gray Butte Loop behind Smith. Skip the Burma Road. Trust me.

Think they will be able to access Mrazek via Farewell by this weekend? The 4601 is a slog but the views sure are nice. One can drive it but it's a long dirt drive too.

The T'winks/Funner deal sounds like a plan. What about an out and back on Steve Larsen trail? (I've actually never ridden that one.)

I always throw in a Larsen out-and-back when I ride the Wanoga loop. It's a fun, flat trail, that is fairly short (three miles??), and it currently ends in a dead-end (Duodenum has been flagged and is being cut out, but is not rideable yet).

It's great to add on extra mileage to an existing ride.

Gotcha. Thanks. Might do a KGB/GS/SK/Funner/T'winks/SK/COD/Marvins loop next week and that will be a nice side trip. The right hand heading down turnoff is below the road crossing after all the big table tops in the selective cut. Right? Going to be really wanting the last minute snow report in a few days. Farewell/Mrazek above 4601 and SST/Swede/Rockless/S Fk... Ya know, the "middle upper stuff"..
