    Moving to Bend. Best freeride?

After googling I have concluded that the closest spot is the Lair in Bend, which is mostly dirt jumps but looks AWESOME!

Next closest place is black rock? Quite far, but I can't seem to find anything closer.

How about any lift operated downhill? Is Northstar in Tahoe the closest decent place? Then Whistler is next? All quite far but I do have family in Tahoe.

Can't wait to move there, my SO has a job in Bend while I'll be working offshore rotations with half the year off to bike and ski! Looking to join some clubs, I'll have a lot of free time to help with trail maintenance and such.

Lots of DJ locations to be had all over central oregon. As far as freeride goes, we do not have much, but Mt.Bachelor should be opening up to lift access this fall hopefully.
