    Middle Fork in December?

Turns out that the best ride of the summer happened in December. Who would of thunk?

Rockless checking the brakes and fork on the SS he hasn't been on since April. Flaps and Joel watch.

Scotty shows us the proper way to mount a FS bicycle. "You got to get a lot of air"

Joel does it from a crossbike.

    Grope shot.

Joel and Rockless at the turn around point.

    What a great backyard!

Even if you bozos had twice as much fun as us (you didn't), well we had three times as many riders on our ride today so our total net combined fun was greater than yours. Ha, "best ride of the summer" take that.

    Nyah, nyah, nyah.

The action series, pardon the low light effects. I like the one of Joel...

Well we did the ride on Sunday, that is the Middle Fork Ride, It was great! We started out with six, ended with four riders. Less is more! More Riders is slower, Faster is more single track, we simply rode for 4 hours, knocking out 30 miles of Sweet Single Speed Single track. bob

Well I did Salmon Crick, Awbrey Wall & Eugene to Crest last night, and found great conditions and just a few, easily get-overable downed trees. Lots of debris on Eugene to Crest, but just kick some off as you ride by and it'll all be good.

Awbrey Wall kicked my arse. It's tough enough on a gearie, but on the single it was extra tough. I think the hill has gotten steeper since the last time I was on it!

So you followed MaxSteel & I. We did the same in the morning. That hill hurts on SS! Dunno why, it's only 1100 ft of gain in 1.7 miles.

I found the "Wall" to be a pleasant hike.
