    medford ashland areas

whats the DH/FR scene like there? How far out from good DH trails is it? I come from a place in CO that i can drive 10 minutes to sweet DH and FR trails. Id rather not have to drive 90 minutes to get to goo trails.

Pics of trails would be great.

oh yea i am thinking of moving to Oregon i just need to find a good place to live, a place where I can ride year round.
Prison is hard, everything else is easy

Ashland has a pretty good freeride scene going on. The town/ski resort hosts DH race & 12 mile super D race every year. You can shuttle up to the resort from Lithia park in downtown in about 20 minutes, if you are a super fit, fast downhiller it will take you at least 40 minutes to get to the bottom, that is without stopping & pinning it the whole way. You should take your time on the way down though, cause there are a lot of stunts & jumps along the way, just got to keep an eye out for them. Most of the trails have a good line of site, but still, be carefull of hikers & dogs, they can come up on you fast!

Probably the best resource you could find to answer your question.

Ashland / Rogue Valley is a great place to ride. From long XC, steep climbs, epic downhills, and out the backdoor round trips - I love it here.
