    MBO August 2009 photos

Another MBO has gone by, and it seems like each one gets better and better. Perfect weather, and killer local brews made for an awesome weekend. It hardly felt like we had a record attendance, as things seemed to run smoother, and the guests were all so nice and friendly.

Here are some pix from the weekend, including an unauthorized night ride on Friday to Larrison Rock, Alpine on Saturday, Saturday night's shenanigans, and North Fork on Sunday. I'll post a handful of pix here, and will provide links to the rest of my pix on my Photobucket page. I put over 200 pix on Photobucket, with about half from Saturday night.

This is the reason I did not even take my camera out. Matt had the same camera as me and is 100x better at capturing the forest and the party.

Thanks man for being there. You've made the effort to take my group out on the night ride for three years in a row now. So this year, I had to sober up for a couple of hours to get in that ride. So cool. Everyone in my crew is jealous. That was the perfect day.

Thanks for the sweet pics Matt. I always look forward to what you put up. Next year I will make sure to have my lights charged for the night ride. I'm kicking myself for that one.

    Wink Excellent shots!

Thanks for the pix Matt, and also for guiding us on Alpine and North Fork. I liked the shot of my wife in the sleeveless flowered jersey!

Killer pics, man. I'm going to look at this thread a lot to bring back the awesome-ness that was MBO.

I still cannot believe you concussed yourself before MBO. You know better than to break the sanctions of MBO by coming out of your protective bubble with in 7-14 days of any MBO venu.

Hope your melon is feeling better, and I'm looking forward to seeing you at an event soon.

    Cheers,
    BFE

PS. I gave your pump and tire levers to Davey for a more expedient return. Thanks again for letting me use them. It was good piece of mind during the race.

Great Pics ... here are some of mine

    Hi Matt:

Great riding with you (short ride though it was) and hangin with y'all.

Here are some of my pics from MBO, including one of you (since you got one of me).

(All pics are here, taken with my iPhone ...)

Riding Bus#1 to the Middle Fork: a long ride, but a cool bus.

    Our Saturday Cook's signature ...

Kim (closest), Sherry, DontRemember (sorry), and Kim (who Guided with me), on Alpine, at the view point

    Same group, with the view

Relaxing in Guide Camp after a long ride

Riding with Lisa on Sunday on the North Fork (a sweet trail!)

An unknown (to me) rider on North Fork ...

Another unknown (to me) rider, followed by Matt

And, lastly (for now) Photo Matt himself ...

I don't know about that, but the way the foreground of that pic conveys the action makes it an awesome photo!

Great weekend, great riding and camping with you, Charlie. You know how to set up a campsite!
