I would love to be able to open as soon as it starts raining, but we have a bit to go yet. Follow us on Facebook, and we will keep you updated. Although we can't give a date yet, our team is working full time on the park and can't wait to get the doors open.

    cheers,
    Will

Being an Oregon native you think I could deal with our winters, but it's getting harder every year. I need this place to open! Thanks

Last I messaged with one of the guys who is helping get it up and running he said that it would be spring by the time its all done and open. Going to be a bmx style skills/ DJ/pump style deal but with transitions and what not designed for mtb. I for one am super stoked!! They are going to have a foam pit!!!

any one know where this place will be?

And if this place is close to downtown portland, the wife's going to be p!ssed. Because I'm going to need another bike. I'm thinking the Transition TransAm will fit nicely in an indoor bike park. Maybe i'll even single speed it out.

Its definitely going to be near downtown so start greasing the skids for a new bike now. I don't know about buying a brand new trasition for a park bike though..they get pretty beat up and there isn't a whole lot to them.

I bought a used P3 for a DJ rig. Now, if I could only find some decent dirt jumps near inner portland Was so excited when the eichler park DJ's were getting built, too bad they ran out of dirt and are fairly lame at the moment. But then again, it is building time again...

You do know the TransAm would be for an indoor bike park, not Whister Bike Park? I think it can make it (so long as i make it to the transitions)...

I hear you on the Eichler, its more a park for the beginners. We'll see what time has in store for the places. I'm also heading out to Ventura park today. Got to pick up the car from a shop on 122nd, so instead of taking my hipster bike, i'm taking the trail bike to ride the pump track for a while.

I love that Portland's getting around to putting in some riding that we can ride to.
