    larison update

on 4/23 we rode the larisons. on LC there is a few trees down but not many, and brush, but you cant stop the salal from growing. the trees are early on in the trail and two on the bridge by the CG. we stopped at the creek before the switchbacks and went back. there was a scout camp or something going on at the CG with teepees and such and the morons had a shooting range set up that was next to the trail. (find a quarry or something else to shoot in, a$$holes)
anyway, larison rock was nice and clear, little mud at the bottom but speedy as usual. thank you to whomever cleared it.

There is a black powder rendezvous on Larison Cove every year. As long as they were not shooting across the trail it is OK.

As of last Saturday Larison Rock was declared too wet to ride (by the riders that cleared it).

last saturday as in 4/22 or 4/15. the lower section in the deciduous trees just before you exit to the road was a little muddy in spots and one or two up higher. the mud was in the peanut butter stage very little came up onto the bike. i did notice that there were signs of shuttle monkey activity.

Saturday April 22. Word was passed that it was still too wet. Does not mean some people do not ignore it.

    sorry guy

didnt mean to offend. but i heard no word. if theres an issue about something in the area please post, we come down from corvallis and have few updates about the local conditions and usually extrapolate and assume from the conditons in the mac forest. i usually call the district office but they were closed, and usually have outdated info.

Not blaming you. The latest info is usually available at Willamette Mountain Mercantile or the Trailhead Coffeehouse.
