That was too much fun, including my 5(!) OTB experiences. A few cramps last night, but great memories today. I assume that Sas will post photos too. I don't think I ever pulled my camera out. T'sk!

Great ride all, and happy B'Day to sParty and Stewart.

    More photos.................................

Cazloco enjoying the ride up to Indigo Lake.

Brock (ImaKlyde) walks a(nother!) blowdown section.

Max Steel enjoys his day in the sun.

    Caz, back on frozen ground.

Sasquatch on a 45 degree slope. (That's the temp.)

The Willamette River is pretty small at this place not far belowTimpanogas Lake
(Headwaters of the Middle Fork Willamette). Brock rides past a young waterfall.

Meanwhile, a few miles farther downstream...

    Sasq's good side.

    Brock roosts through Paddy's Valley.

Stewart enjoying the trail and the scenery (or did I say something to make him smile?)

Switchback! Warning: It's never good when your handlebar goes parallel with the top tube.

Brock nailed it, but look at the body english he's puttin' on it. Notice his left foot is not quiiiiiite clipped in...

    Flaps' approach...

    Flaps' attempt...

    Flaps' aftermath...

Brock chuckles on Chuckles Creek Bridge.

We make camp at Chuckles Spring.

    Proof.

    Rigdon repair.

Sasquatch is pleased with himself... he's having a great day.

    Rockhound leaves.

    Flaps leaves, too.

We're getting very near the end...

The last photo was taken at Simpson Creek, where we bailed. It was getting too dark (first day of miserable Standard Time) and we still had 10 miles to go back to the vehicles. As it was, we arrived at the cars a little after dark.

In any event it was a great day. Thanks for all the fun, boyz.

Middle Fork in November? Maybe this Global Warming thing isn't so bad..............just kidding.
I brought some newbie's down to MRT on Sunday, what an awesome day! We started at Deer Creek and rode up the trail then around Clear Lake before plunging back down McKenzie. Day light in the woods for the last hour was iffy but we made it out okay with just one cracked helmet and a slightly bent rear derailleur. No pixs (who could out do Sasquatch's shots of the MRT?)

looks like a an epic for sure... we loaded out a little early... then re-grouped and went up the road a little ways to the next trailhead, and then road that to rigdon meadows as an out and back... good times... i doubt we'll see trail like that up there until may...
