Important- petition for equal trail access for mountain bikers

    Hello fellow mtbr members:

A precedent setting decision (Forest Order) is being considered by the Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest (USFS). This decision is dangerous as it focuses exclusively on mountain bikers.

Please make the time to read this brief petition as this decision has the potential to effect all USFS lands. If you agree with the message, please sign the petition and share the link with everyone you know.

    Thanks everyone.

    Ride On!

Always troubling news, although I would hazard a guess that the ******** who got caught building jumps didn't help our cause.

    Keep up the good fight.

thank you so much for signing...spread the word...we need all the support we can get...

and yes, users getting caught building trails is not a good thing. I know these guys and they are down to earth, kind souls so we're gonna postpone their public hanging and hope that they repent!! :-)

Building trails can be a very good thing, when done correctly & with the appropriate authorization(s). Building jumps in existing trails is something quite different & is to be avoided.

Public hanging seems a tad harsh but a public caning wouldn't be a bad idea. : )
