I like riding when the sun is directly overhead, meaning summer; I sometimes find riding in late fall that the shadows are deceiving. Roots and rocks are deceptively concealed by shadows.

Ahhh yes summer..... St Helens and the Lewis River trail make for one awesome weekend of riding,swimming, camping, drinking and yelling at the moon. What a privilege it is to live in the pacific north west, now for 7 months of rain....
