Hobo camping with the Grand Dog

I took my daughters dog Parker on another trip to Buddy Island. I had my beater tent, hobo stove and cheap sleeping bags. I brought two 20oz cans of Steel Reserve 211 beer for dinner. Parker had dog food.

I burned two dog food sacks of pallet wood I hauled in. The hobo stove was lit at 8pm and burned until I went to bed at 11 pm. The stove was made from recycled popcorn can and some coffee cans for the chimney.

I lost my night vision so I blocked the stoves light by holding up a board so I could see the stars. I sipped my beers, listened to the train and highway 58. A beaver slapped it's tail and got Parker on high alert.

A bald eagle was eating this fish when we arrived. It's dead salmon season right now. The buzzards and eagles are feasting.

We left at dawn and floated down river as the sun rose. My boats the only thing not hobo. I like simple things and outdoor adventures.
