Heading to Bend for the first time

I am planning on riding in Bend for the first time over my kids spring break. The only problem is I only get one day of riding!

So the million dollar questions! What trail should I ride???? Any locals want to give me advice?

As a point of reference, I normally ride Sandy Ridge or Cold Creek in the Portland area. Thanks in advance!

Peterson Ridge should be good, as well!

+1 on the Horse Ridge suggestion. It would be very different from the normal areas you ride.

Basically snow will block you on the good stuff, so Horse Ridge is your best bet.

Horse Ridge is great. Also Grey Butte loop is a good, beautiful, longer XC route out of Smith Rocks.
Look at bendtrails.org and ask around
