    Freeride around Oakland?

Hey Oregon shredders, I am looking for somewhere to ride in the Oakland/Roseburg area. I dont mind a little hike but I dont pedal up. I was thinking about heading up to blackrock but if thats too far for m parents to drive me then I'll need to find some more local stuff. i'll be heading up in about a week and a half, so if someone wants to ride that'd be cool.

    Thanks for any suggestions,
    Dory

There is great riding in that area, but not much FR stuff I'm aware of. BlackRock is over 2 hours from Roseburg. If you don't pedal up I think you are stuck looking at your bike. There are a couple of trails in Ashland that can be shuttled, but it's a couple hours driving (give or take) and not as FR/big as BlackRock.

Sorry man. In that area...it's XC or...

    Brock...
Are the wheels roundish? Ride it.

Don't forget that even Blackrock is "Pedal up" unless you happen to hit a shuttle day.

'tis true. Although some of us are known to actually ride our "freeride" bikes uphill, oh, and down.

    Brock...

    PS: freeriding aint exactly free...
