    Eugene conditions?

I'm driving down the 5 on the way to SF in a couple of days and was hoping to stop and ride somewhere along the way. I'm not familiar with winter conditions in the area, so if somebody could recommend a kosher wet-weather ride it would be really helpful. If there's camping nearby, even better.

North Shore Trail is about 15 miles east of I-5 and is a out and back with a lollypop option. There's also the DOD's semi-secret stash of trails 15miles west of I-5 but you'd need a tour guide and beer to enjoy. Any camping would be hobo style near either of those two trail. (the beer is to insure a safe return to your car)

The DOD does a wednesnighter at either of those two places.

Oakridge is 40miles east of I-5 and most of those trails are either not kosher to ride this time of year, under snow or another 20 miles away.

I am a Mountain Biker therefore I am late
