Well...I had heard that they had marked out logging on Woodpecker Trail, so I thought I would try and ride it before they took it out. I was obviously a day too late. Got almost all the way to the bottom then came upon freshly fallen trees (I could still smell the chainsaw exhaust). I had to backtrack to the top of Woodpecker. Fortunately, I was able to go north on Road 1902, which (as I prayed) connects to Robb Mill Road about 1/4 mile uphill of the parking area (BTW, the old parking area has been eliminated by the gravel company).
