Crescent Mountain Trail?

Was out xc skiing near the upper the end of the MRT and skied up to the trail head for the Crescent Mountain Trail. Sign at TH says it is open to MTBs, looking at the topo, it looks pretty gnarly, but could be awesome, 7.3 miles one way. Any one know anything about it?

I rode it with a group about 10 years ago, it's pretty steep but not technically gnarly. It had good flow but was a real grind to get to the top.
