    construction at sandy ridge?

anybody know whats going on about 100" down from the road 14 parking area? Looks like there putting in a new road or something. Lots og tractors and tree cutting going on.

I thought that area was going to be another parking area. IMBA cut a trail through there a year back but this new work does not seem trail oriented.

    thank you,
    chris

When SR was originally being built there was supposed to be a big parking lot, kiosk and pump track. Hopefully some that knows for sure will answer.

I talked to Zack, Adam and Jason on Wednesday. It is indeed the new parking lot. They didn't say anything about a pump track but I didn't ask either.

Just got back from there, saw said construction site. Cool news if thats parking. Otherwise - here's my ride report: my face still hurts from grinning.

Just got back their myself, and was wondering about that. Also, that one 3 foot drop after the second rock garden on Quid Pro Flow has gotten substantially easier since the last time I was there.

They must be early risers. I just drive past it and someone was already working with a machine.

The trails were excellent today. The ground is still moist but the roots and rocks are dry now. The leaves are really starting to drop, but not enough trail coverage to affect riding yet. Looks like Wednesday will be more of the same. FYI, Ant Farm trail crew is working on Upper Hide and Seek redoing the creek crossing and a few of the corners.
